The Huge Being List Project is a collection of larger-than-life human figures scattered along the roadside in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Its purpose is two-fold; first, to begin the process of comprehensively documenting and photographing huge beings, and second, to provide a resource for travellers and roadside architecture enthusiasts.

This list includes the name of the being, city and state, and a general location.  More detailed information, including height and weight, material, year built, designer, and builder is kept in a separate database.

Maps of states will be added over the next several months.

For the most part, all of the listings meet the following parameters:

• The being must be larger-than-life.
• The being must be three-dimensional, rather than flat.
• Human figures are preferred, although mostly-human anthropomorphic representations of animals or inanimate objects are acceptable.
• Huge parts (hands, feet, ears, etc.) are included.
• The emphasis is on the whimsical, rather than the serious.

This project relies almost entirely on tips, information, and photographs sent in by visitors.  Anything you can share is most appreciated!
