The giant UFO (unbelievably fudgie object), which apparently crash-landed into the middle of Trafalgar Square, was created as a publicity stunt for Maryland Cookies England by art director Simon Hall and copywriter Steve Wilkes, both of Cogent Elliott Group UK. It appeared on September 13, 1999, and disappeared three days later, on September 16, 1999.
